Broken Ankles and Bee Stings
That’s how we’ll remember our inaugural men’s softball game at Winter’s Field. Bradsy baby getting stung by a bee and subsequently finding the power to destroy a softball (finally learning how to hit) and our beloved Manboyle who’s broken ankle received while crossing home plate for the tying run in game 2 of our double-header will serve as a painful reminder that even at only 26 years of age, we are old men.
We stopped playing tackle football to avoid this kind of thing. Who knew softball would prove to be far more dangerous than football ever was.
